Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ. Romans 10:17
Dear Brothers and sisters,
Faith is not something that we are thinking about. Here Apostle JAMES addressing about faith - (In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:17.)
First of all, we have to find that either we have faith or devotion.
Because Abraham has faith so that he can able to come out from his father's house to trust in God's word.
And Our Lord Jesus Christ has faith so that he can able to enter into the death to trust in God the father that he will resurrect him from the dead.
The same faith the apostles have after the day of Pentecost. So they all went out and announce that Jesus Christ is the lord. And they are ready to die for Christ.
But before Pentecost, they all went and hide, at that time they are not ready to announce the gospel. because they all have a fear of their own life. But Christ told them I will go and I will send the holy spirit. So he sent his holy spirit on the day of Pentecost on all his disciples. So holy spirit boosted their faith up so they all hated their own life and started living for the sake of the gospel.
Where can we get faith?
We can get faith in our holy church
Because the holy spirit is there in our holy church. Through church holy spirit will help us to grow in faith. So we can also able to face all our trails. And we can come out of all our slavery's...
So the reflection of faith is trust god in any situation even in poverty, failure, insults, deaths, sickness, even you are in jail, even you have robbed by anyone, even you are alone because Christ is with you.
